A 10-week group program with Svea Lin Soll

Oct 2026 – Jan 2027

Build the professional foundation your practice deserves

Art World Ready helps emerging artists build the materials, clarity, and strategic foundation they need to become professionally ready in the art world — and to pursue opportunities that truly align with their practice.

10 weeks · Small cohort · Live sessions · Investment: $1,500

The Program

The problem is not that artists aren't working hard enough

Many emerging artists are doing everything they can with the information they have. They are making the work, applying for opportunities, trying to improve their statements, updating websites, and piecing together advice from social media, peers, and scattered workshops.

But effort alone does not close the gap. Too often, talented artists stay stuck because they were never shown how the art world actually works, what materials matter most, how to position themselves clearly, or how to make decisions that support long-term growth.

Artists don't just lack tactics — they're kept in the dark by an industry that rewards gatekeeping.

Art World Ready is about closing the information gap that keeps artists small. It gives you a clear process for building a stronger foundation so your practice can be understood, supported, and advanced with far more confidence — and so you can make better decisions about which paths are truly right for you.

This is not about chasing visibility. It's about becoming genuinely prepared.

Who this is for

Emerging artists — and artists resetting.

Art World Ready is for emerging artists, and for artists who want to reset their practice: anyone serious about their work and ready to strengthen the professional side of it. You may be a fit if:

  • You have a committed studio practice but need help presenting it professionally
  • You are returning to your practice, or rebuilding it, and want a clean foundation to start from
  • You struggle to articulate your work clearly in writing and conversation
  • You want stronger materials for applications, opportunities, and outreach that actually fit your practice
  • You feel overwhelmed by how to navigate the art world strategically, and want to discern which opportunities are genuinely aligned
  • You are ready for structure, feedback, and real guidance rather than more vague advice
  • You want to build a sustainable foundation before pursuing bigger opportunities

Ready to stop guessing.

Who this is not for

Not a visibility hack.

Art World Ready may not be the right fit if:

  • You are looking for a quick visibility hack or instant sales formula
  • You are not currently making work consistently
  • You want fully done-for-you positioning without active participation
  • You are already operating at an advanced level and need higher-level strategic navigation more than foundation-building

This program asks for real participation.

Architecture

Ten weeks. Five phases.

Art World Ready is a guided group experience designed to help you build your professional foundation step by step.

Weeks 1–2 · Clarity and assessment

We begin by looking closely at your current practice, materials, goals, and gaps. You will identify where you are, what is working, what is not yet landing, and what needs to be strengthened first.

Weeks 3–4 · Positioning your practice

You will clarify the core ideas, themes, and distinct qualities of your work so you can speak about it with greater precision. This includes refining how your work is framed for different audiences without losing its integrity — and identifying what kinds of opportunities are aligned with that integrity.

Weeks 5–6 · Professional materials

We focus on the materials artists need most: artist statements, bios, core messaging, and other key presentation assets. The goal is work that sounds like you, reflects the depth of your practice, and reads as genuinely professional.

Weeks 7–8 · Strategy and opportunity readiness

You will learn how to think more strategically about opportunities, timing, fit, and next steps. Rather than chasing everything, you will begin to understand what actually aligns with your work, your values, and your career stage.

Weeks 9–10 · Integration and forward plan

In the final phase we bring everything together. You will leave with stronger materials, clearer direction, and a practical plan for how to keep building after the cohort ends.

What you get

Inside Art World Ready.

A 10-week guided group program for emerging artists

Curriculum focused on professional readiness, positioning, strategic foundation, and aligned decision-making

Feedback on key written and professional materials

Support refining how you present your work

A clearer understanding of art-world expectations and navigation

Thoughtful group learning with other serious artists

A stronger plan for your next steps after the program, rooted in alignment rather than pressure

If it is available at the time of your cohort, there may also be an invitation to continue inside an ongoing community for artists who want continued support, connection, and momentum. That continuation is optional, and designed as a next-step environment after the foundation work is in place.

Real outcomes

This approach is not theoretical.

It is built from decades inside the field, and from supporting artists as they move into stronger professional positioning and more aligned opportunities. A few outcomes clients have experienced:

One client secured 3 museum shows, including her first solo show, and made multiple sales — including one over $8,000

Another client sold a work to a private collection and secured 2 museum shows

Another went from zero gallery prospects to 3 gallerists wanting solo shows, completed 2 solo shows, and those shows led to ongoing sales and commissions

These results are not about hype. They reflect what becomes possible when strong work is matched with stronger positioning, professional readiness, better strategic support, and opportunities that are genuinely aligned.

Why this exists

Artists deserve far more transparency than they are given.

I created this work after nearly 30 years across the art world — museums, nonprofits, commercial galleries, consulting, collections management, sales, commissions, curatorial work, exhibitions, and public-facing programs.

I also grew up poor, and that matters to how I see this field. I know what it means to value learning deeply, to seek knowledge wherever you can find it, and to recognize how unevenly access is distributed.

I care about democratizing art-world information for artists and advocating for them. I believe artists are essential to a healthy culture and society. Their work matters. Their voices matter.

They should not have to remain excluded from knowledge that could help them build sustainable, visible, respected careers. That belief is at the center of Art World Ready.

The Guarantee

Show up fully, or we make it right.

If you fully participate in the program, complete the core work, and show up for the process — and you genuinely feel by the end that Art World Ready did not give you greater clarity, stronger professional materials, and a more confident strategic foundation — reach out within 7 days of the program ending and we will make it right.

The goal is not pressure. The goal is trust.

Your guide

Svea Lin Soll

Svea brings almost 30 years of experience in the art world to her work as a career strategist for artists. She has worn many hats in the industry — gallery owner, exhibition and sales director, curator, and art consultant — giving her a comprehensive understanding of how opportunities are created and sustained.

As the founder of Swarm Gallery, an experimental art space that supported emerging and mid-career artists through exhibitions, studios, and public events, Svea built a reputation for championing artists at pivotal points in their careers. She currently advises private clients on acquisitions and curates large-scale projects that focus on cultural and climate narratives.

Her professional development practice for artists emerges directly from these experiences. Svea works with artists to navigate the complexities of the art world, offering practical strategies on topics such as gallery relationships, pricing, visibility, and long-term career planning. Grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration, her approach empowers artists to not only advance their careers but to build them in sustainable, values-aligned ways.

And what comes after

Art World Ready is the foundation.

It is designed to help emerging artists — and artists resetting their practice — get professionally ready with the materials, clarity, and strategic grounding they need first.

Artists who later need more advanced guidance around positioning, income, and higher-level navigation can continue with private, invitation-only work after the cohort. But this page is about the first step — and for many artists, that first step is the one that changes everything.

FAQ

A few honest questions.

Is this open enrollment?+

No. I ask for a short application because the cohort works when everyone in it is genuinely ready. If it looks like a strong fit, I'll invite you to a brief conversation before extending an invitation.

What's the investment?+

$1,500 for the full 10-week program. If your budget is in a different range right now, the application will help me point you toward the right resource instead.

What's the format?+

Ten weeks of live group sessions with work between calls. This is not a course to consume at your own pace — it's a guided, structured group experience.

Who is this actually for?+

Emerging artists, and artists who want to reset their practice. If you're making work seriously — whether you're early on or rebuilding after a pause or a shift — this is the foundation program.
